They know sh says /sh/… but then get to ship and s They know sh says /sh/… but then get to ship and suddenly they’re stuck 😅 That’s usually a sign they need more practice seeing the digraph in actual words... not just naming the sound. Lots of spotting it, blending it, and reading it in real text is what helps it start to stick. Save this for your next digraph lesson! They might be able to solve the addition fact or the subtraction fact, but still not really understand how the numbers are connected.
