They know sh says /sh/… but then get to ship and s They know sh says /sh/… but then get to ship and suddenly they’re stuck 😅 That’s usually a sign they need more practice seeing the digraph in actual words... not just naming the sound. Lots of spotting it, blending it, and reading it in real text is what helps it start to stick. Save this for your next digraph lesson! Fact families can be such a tricky concept for kid Fact families can be such a tricky concept for kids. They might be able to solve the addition fact or the subtraction fact, but still not really understand how the numbers are connected. That’s why I wanted this resource to have more than just worksheets. You can use it to teach the relationship first, give students lots of different ways to practice it, and then check to see if it’s actually clicking.
